Terms and Conditions at the Charlton Hotel
and Morgans Bar
General Room Condition
All prices are based on 2 adults sharing a double room. Discounts are available for children under 12 when sharing with adults. We reserve the right to prioritise and allocate our more popular rooms to our longer staying guests.
Making a booking
Credit card details will secure your room and a £25 non refundable deposit wil be charged to your card. Your credit card will be pre-authorised up to 14 days prior to your stay. Full payment is due on arrival at the hotel either by cash or credit card (cheques not accepted).
Cancellation charges
There will be a £12.50pp charge if a booking is cancelled more than 14 days before the date of arrival. Cancellations within the 5 day period will incur the full tariff unless we are able to resell the room, in which case a £25 admin fee will apply. Cancellations within 48 hours of arrival date or no shows will incur full tariffs as quoted at the time of booking. If you cancel and a refund is due we will refund using the same method of payment as originally used.
Check in Check Out
You can check in whatever time suits you, we will try to accomodate your luggage until you room is ready, usually accessible by 2.30pm. Please feel free to use our facilities upon arrival. On day of departure please vacate your room by 10:30am.
Customer Service
We are delighted that you chose to stay with us and are keen to develop our business in order to please all of our guests. We can do this by urging all guests to report any positive or negative comments during your stay.
SPECIAL CONDITIONS PLEASE READ AS THEY ARE IMPORTANT
We are a family hotel and do not accept bookings from same sex groups, whether stag / hen or a party celebration of any kind, however parties of people aged 40+ maybe considered when we have analysed the hotels current bookings, we reserve the right to refuse without explaination. Gay couples are welcome. We do not accept one night bookings when it involves a Friday / Saturday night during high season. We are very proud of our hotel and so we ask you to please look after our facilities during your stay, any loss or damage will be charged directly to the person who made the booking.
